Freecell 'Plays' Info

According to Denny, the 'Plays' field of the Freecell.net database includes 'in-progress' games. Therefore, the 'Losses' column of this display is not necessarily the true number of losses:

• If a player is in the middle of a game at the time this display is requested, it will show up as a loss for that player.


• If a player started the day in the middle of a game, then the loss column will show as one less than it really is whenever the player is not in the middle of a game.

If both of these occur at the same time, the effects will cancel each other out.

Sorry, there's no easy way for me to determine whether somebody's in the middle of a game.
